The screws that hold the front headliner (and curtain rail) in my coach are loose because the holes in the plastic above the windshield have been stripped, elongated or damaged. Likewise the screws that hold the rear view mirror bracket in place. Any one have any experience with fixing this condition?

You should be able to use some knurled press inserts for plastics. They are available from McMaster-Carr online, just search their catalog for inserts. They have several types, and I think any of them should work just fine. The press-fit ones should be the easiest and strong enough for this application.

I just re-installed mine after insulation was added..
Had a coiuple that wouldn't hold, so I pop riveted in place. For future
removal, I'll just drill out the rivet..

As Arch used to say, just what I did...
