This past summer my trans died and I called Good Sam for a tow. I told them the closest guy I was comfortable with was Ken Frey, 90 miles away. They told me they would only tow it to the nearest shop THEY determined to be capable. The guy the chose was a mile away, operated out of a converted gas station and didn't have the best reputation. He had no familiarity with the GMC, to him it was just another motorhome. Sam said "sorry" it's him or no one. I paid big time to have it towed to Frey's shop.

I got a call today from a GSC representative who said if they'd towed it to the local shop and the local shop couldn't handle it then they's tow it to someone else, not necessarily Frey, someone next on their list.

Anyone familiar with the way AAA would have handled this? I can't see any reason to continue with GSC.
