It's been over 30 years ago I moved that ugly box off the roof to down under on the frame where it's very quite. yes the cold air comes in near floor so I ducked the return hot air back to the a/c from ceiling. I used the original unit off the roof and it still has the original Freon [ none added] Jim Anstett Loveland Colorado.

I would be interested in knowing how he did this, and where in the frame he put it. I would love to be able to use the space where the a/c is on the roof for another solar panel in my rebuild of my coach planing.

Oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car, understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car. Hp is how fast you hit the wall, and torque is how far you take the wall with you when you hit it.

I'm just guessing when he said "under the frame" , i would think he would be referring to the underneath the coach.

I am considering solar panels, wonder if you could fit a low profile AC, would the solar panels fit over the top, without making it too high ??

the low profile a/c's are around 10" high so having solar panels mounted that high off over it would be a concern and i wouldn't do it.
but i'm guessing he probably disassembled the original unit and make it fit somehow underneath the coach in the frame and ducked it up though the floor.

If I recall correctly, he doesn't have an Onan and he put the house air conditioner into the Onan compartment and just cut a hole under the bed for the cool air to blow into the motorhome. I know at summer rallies he always had the Onan door propped open when running the air conditioner.
I will probably be seeing Jim over the Christmas holiday and will ask him and take a look at it then.
