Assuming you plan to change the filter also, make sure the gasket comes
off with the
filter or you will end up with a double gasket when you install the new
filter.
BTDT, BTDT, BTDT (more than once)
After you refill the oil and check for leaks, let the engine sit while
the oil drains down.
Then pull the stick and see where the level is. That becomes your correct
fill mark and
the stick should be scored at that point.
