How can you tell if a PD 9245 is operating correctly?
I have that silly Pendant gizmatchy but all it does is fast blink -
all the time. On shore power, generator or nothing. Should I get
one of those Craftsman inductive DC ammeter's to see if it's really
shooting the juice to my house batteries?

If it's the same as mine, when it's on all the time, it's in the Boost Mode, and should be charging @ 14.4 volts.
A blink every 2-3seconds is the normal charging @13.7 volts, and blinking at 5-6 second intervals is the storage mode @ 13.2 volts.
Their chart says that a discharged battery will take 11 hours to return at the Boost Mode, 78 hours at the Normal Mode, and 100 hours at the Storage Mode.
Hope this helps, if not, give them a buzz @269.781.4241, or email them, service@progressivedyn.com. They should be able to help if nothing else.
