I am in process of doing the same to my 75 Palm Beach as well.

It does fit just fine in the area of the old buzzbox, and seems to work
wonderfully!

I had to unscrew the panel holding the 120v breakerbox and water heater
switch to get my old buzzbox unbolted, but the installation went easily after
that. Just be sure to connect the green ground wire from the new
converter to the aluminum framework of the coach to get a good grounding point.

I also used the opportunity to replace the old 12 volt fusebox with a
newer one that used the blade type fuses and had some extra terminals available
for adding additional circuits for newer electronics if needed in the
future. I mounted that panel on the same platform that hold the new converter,
so I can see the fuses much easier than trying to get a good angle on the
original location (in my 75 Palm Beach).

Good luck with your project!
