It seems to me these discussions should be taken off-Net at this point.

Why should a person be banned for speaking the truth?

Harry,

It is not what was said but the agressive attacks that start the whole situation. ....and not just an isolated misunderstanding but numerous personal attacks on some people that did not deserve the viscous public cold cocking. Remember, they were all initiated by the same person in all instances.

Jim,

I agree with you from a standpoint that Gordon's communication skills are
aggressive but IIRC he never attacked the person just what they were said.

Once it was game on Emery and Steve gave as good as they got.

This whole situation has created a problem for me and possibly for all of
us, I am now reticent to send a disagreeing email of any kind into the
GMCnet, hence my private email to you.

And in my opinion that is not good.

Oops!

I didn't mean for this to go to the GMCnet but I forgot to cut and paste
Jim's address in the To: block.

Maybe it is best that it did go to the net?

Rob,

Ihave no problem with the e-mail going out thru the net and not privately.
I have a lot of respect for most of the GMCers here and you personally. .....and I'm not just trying to blow smoke up your skirt. Seriously, I have no problem with not agreeing with anything or everything that is said and done here or anywhere. As a matter of fact, some things that are done scare the heck out of me, but not being my coach it is none of my business what people do or like. My feelings on opinions are if you ask 4 people for their opinion and you'll get 5 different answers. I just feel from what was posted here that it is more than rough agressive communications skills. Now in his defense, I have never met him but I have met and had dealings with the others that were called out and maybe that is clouding my judgement. It is just out of character of the people I know. .....and then to have someone to ask "why should a person be banned for speaking the truth". What is that truth? Maybe I'm taking this way too seriously and defensively but seeing this eats my insides up. 'nuff said? I think I'll go outside and winterize ANNIE.

1. I personally do not want to say anything behind someones back (off-line) that I wouldn't say in front of them. (on-line) But if it isn't about GMC's... it doesn't need to be on-line.

2. If you use the Web Based forum, it is very easy to keep forum and eMail separate.
