First thing I was told about GMCs is "Everyone gets rid of the vacuum." Our first coach didn't have one. We tried two hand held dust stirrers and our second coach has the original. The first thing I did was make sure it worked. Since that time a friend gave me one he took out.
I think the central vac is the best thing since bubble gum. We keep the hose under the bed, on top of the water tank, so my Beloved can have the prerequisite spice closet.
So, I don't know if they are worth anything, but this GMCer loves the thing.

Good features:
1) It will suck the fuzz off a peach
2) Has a rotating brush that works well on carpeting and upholstery
3) Has a hose and crevice attachment
4) Has a 16 foot cord so you can get anywhere in the GMC with it
Bad feature:
1) Small filter that gets full pretty quickly and you have empty it fairly
often

I bought a similar item (different brand) from Wally World about a year ago. It was a Shark brand for around $35.00. It does a great job and I can hide it away easily in the coach. It runs on 12 VAC.

Try a Hoover Type J. Not a perfect fit but it will work.
The actual bag is a Thomas Industries T-648.
I don't know if you can still get these though.
You might try an Internet search on that company and bag number.
Cinnabar @800-720-2227 they sell a reusable bag for the factory vac.
Their part number is 706108 and it run about $20.
I have it and it fits and works great.

I have the hose and all attachments, The vacuum has a burned out
transformer, 27 Volts I believe.

We kept the vac, and got a stretchy hose--6 feet or so, and it stretches
to 20 ft. The vac, itself, the hose and one floor tool are all that are
left. We now have 3 pantry shelves with cans and the bottom part of the
tool storage area holds the hose and floor tool. The vacuum mechanism
doesn't take up all that much space in the cabinet under the fridge.

Unfortunately I don't know the original source, I got this one from a
yard sale.
I did get a longer one (for the house) from a local vacuum repair & sales
place.

The only thing I have against the original vacuum is it doesn't have a beater bar brush. I suppose if you have tile or hard wood floors rather then carpet it would work well. I now use my old Royal hand held or a small upright dirt devil that tucks behind a barrel chair.

yeah I got perga(sp?) floors, the hard wood makes the coach so much better and easier to clean. the driers cockpit still has carpet but its not so hard to clean with the handy attachment...
