I finally have gotten around to installing a cook top replacement that I bought last January (from ronthebus). The replacement has what looks to me to be a regulater on the inlet pipe. My original cooktop does not have this feature on it. I think I need to take that off. I'm sure the regulator would be necessary in hooking straight up to a propane bottle. But since the GMC has a regulator on the supply tanks, it is not necessary and maybe would not even work.
Am I looking at this in the right way??

thanks, Don Baker, Burleson, Texas 1977 Kingsley twin bed, dry bath
