My first daughter, Annabel, was born yesterday morning at 8:40 a.m. She came 6 weeks early but both mom and baby are doing well despite the early surprise. Unfortunately we lost out on our last planned trip before the baby, a long planned swing to see some friends and football at the University of South Carolina, but some things are even better than a trip in the GMC...

Thanks,

Congratulations to you both and hello to Annabel.
Now you can plan to bring her to some rallies where she can be spoiled by her GMC aunts and uncles.

Congratulations on the new addition to your family. Know it's a great
feeling as our first child just had her first child and we're still
basking in the glow. He was premature as well. Maybe they're just in
a hurry to get in their Dad's and Granddad's GMC's as fast as they can
so we can show them off.{:>)

Glad all is well with mom and baby. Hang in there as you're in for a
totally new experience in life. Best wishes to all three of you.

Jeremy, Congratulations on the new daughter! Our first daughter was born 43 years ago this week, and I still remember those feelings of joy and pride, and the nagging doubts as to whether we were really ready for this.

And you are so right on that last statement...

We have 2 GMC's and enjoy using them very much, but they just don't compete with our family.

Our kids are grown now and we are enjoying our first great-grandchild. Lots of memories back through those years. Some memories are not the good kind, but I still agree with the old song by Flatt & Scruggs "All of the good times outweigh the bad.."

Congratulations, Papa! We can always use new blood! Raised in a GMC,
she should become a True Believer.

Jeremy;
Congratulations! As a very wise man said to me on the birth of our
daughter. If you are lucky, you have 1000 weeks to enjoy her before she
takes flight. Make sure you enjoy those 1000 weeks as much as possible,
as they go by very quickly.

I wonder where the 30 somethings are who were raised in GMC's?

Congrats on your new blessing. My kids won't even hear of me selling ARVEE as they like to call the GMC.

You need another bunk bed for yours? I got one if you do.
