I googled "RV trade show promoter" I found a list of shows, one name came up more than the others, i emailed him, he answered.
The exchange appears below. I hope someone can take this and run with it.
I hope someone is willing to potentially let a lot of strangers look at their coach.
I hope no one wants to kill me.

Mr. Lynch,
I am a member of the GMC Motor home community. We were recently discussing ways to draw new blood and keep these old coaches alive.
Is there a mutually beneficial way for us to have a presence at an RV trade Show?
What if we identified a few really nice coaches to display and you could promote “Vintage Motorhome Demo Open House”
Perhaps with samples of GMC, Revcon, and Clark Cortez.
Perhaps that might attract people who would not otherwise come? Some will be attracted to our hobby and go looking for an old coach to restore and a bunch more will realize the work involved and move on to your mainstream vendors.
Either way, you’ll have more feet on the floor and more names on the mailing list.
Obviously, our little clubs would not have the money for the exhibitor fees but perhaps if the idea grew legs then a bunch of our small cottage vendors could pitch in.
I believe the community is organized enough to pull this off of someone like you offered the opportunity.
Look Forward To hearing from you.

his repy- un edited- direct and to the point
ok... lets do it...
rules- 1)no units for sale
2)limited to 10 exhibitor badges per show
3)must move in when instructed
4)pay for electric when facility charges
5)limit 2 units per show
6)pictures of units or units must be approved by me prior to event
take a look at my website and tell me what rv shows you would like to be at... i have added montgomery, alabama, january 8-10 as well!
let me know asap!

Sounds like this would be a great way to promote the GMCs.
If the shows are like those up here in Chicago, you would have to be very careful of what the charges are for electricity, etc. Anyone who has ever exibited at McCormick Place should be able to give you stories!

Yes and Do I have stories about McCormick Place. There are unions for everything. Do not wash a window on your display coach. That is the union painter's job. etc..etc...etc.
