Wow!

I was looking forward to making another visit to Trester's junk yard when I came down there.

If you read the title and the response posting it should have made perfect sense. Also if someone accessed randomly through web site then they could also have seen everything in the thread. They could not have accessed it through email without signing up first. If they signed up then they also got the previous email...HMMMMMM....

Ken,

I meant a guy that likes to visit junkyards?

All of US understand that but someone outside the GMC community?

Hmmmmmm?

In fact I am jealous of you guys because you CAN go to the junkyard and find
useful bits for your GMC I ain't that lucky!

Jeez,

Guess I'll have to spell it out.

I understood what Ken said figuratively and literally. I said to myself gee
Tester's must be a good source of parts for a GMC if Ken is going to miss
not being able to visit!

However, through the eyes of someone who didn't have a GMC or follow this
forum and KNOW that junkyards are a good source of parts for a GMC the fact
that Ken noted his disappointment not being able to visit a JUNKYARD would
be a bit strange and that struck me as funny.

I guess my USAussie funny bone resonates at a different frequency from a
Canuck funny bone!

Rob;
I spent the day parting out my $100 Lumina for the ECM, SENSORS, two 17"
fans and a bunch of other stuff for my GMC. Maybe this is why I find
junkyards a normal, healthy, enjoyable activity. I never thought of the
humor involved. By separating out the battery, radiator, 4 aluminum
wheels, and catalytic convertor, I will net back @ $170 tomorrow.
There was even $2.78 in cash in the car. Tomorrow I have my lunch money
and gas money. The GMC "Chicken Coupe" was only worth $72 as scrap.
Hope this tickles your funny bone some more;
Gordon

I don't know where Testor's is but would like to!

When We drove down to Orlando last January, we passed at least two semi-truck boneyards but it was too early to visit (crack 'o dawn). We only have one like that here in Augusta, Maine, so the pickins is limited.

Does anyone have a favorite list of mens' malls?
