Anybody have a source for the U-shaped rubber window
seal that fits around the edges of the fixed glass
in the front side windows?? My front passenger
window is leaking like a sieve -- much of the rubber
is shrunken or missing. PO obviously tried some
repairs, badly... Also, any pointers on how to
take it apart without breaking would be appreciated.
thanks,
Karen

Jim Bounds at the GMC Coop in Orlando, Florida probably has the seals as well as information on how to replace them. I think you may have to take out and disassemble the frame to replace the fixed window seals.
If you're on the west coast, I imagine Jim K @ Applied GMC in California has them as well.
If they are not available, an automotive glass installer probably has what you need.
Are you sure that they are leaking by the window seals? I wonder if the leak isn't around the window assembly rather than the fixed windows themselves.
