Hi all, we went on our annual family camp trip to Refugio State Beach in Santa Barbara, CA with the E2 and ran into a newbie owner. Turns out to be Tom Pace and his lovely wife Debbie from AK on their maiden voyage down the Cali coast. Had a too short visit as we were leaving that day and they were preparing to ride out our first winter storm.
We use our rig way too little but when we do I fall in love all over again. Ran smooth as butter cruising at 75-80 up and down the 101. I was freaking out ahead of the trip as my PowerMaster brakes were acting up and the pump was cycling on and off every 20 sec. The good folks in PA who reproduce the accumulator suggested I change the brake fluid to see if it helped first (losing a potential sale of 200.00) and I went to a trusted brake shop in SLO (San Luis Autobody Brake and Alignment) who changed the fluid and set my tire pressures and greased my bogies for 130 bucks. That fixed the problem and we were on our way.
All systems worked flawlessly and a great time was had by all.
Tom, if you read this, is was great to meet you and look forward to seeing you again when you return to paradise from the great state of Arkansas.
