I have uploaded some pictures of how Randy Van Winkle and I cut down the sloping pedestal on my '74 Eleganza SE. The Honda seats were going to be almost six inches higher that the previous seats.
I had not welded in 34 years, so I have to apologize for the welds.
Even though I put the file names in an alphabetical order, the pictures insist on displaying backwards. The link I am providing sorts them correctly, I think. If not, click on Sort without changing any parameters and the will appear in the correct order.
