The original 4K in my parts GMC cranks good but does not fire. Fuel is direct from a can- there appears to be no spark.

Any easy place to look for trouble?

Check the board. There is a 5amp fuse there.
Does your pump run?

Is the pump running?
If not it is telling me that the board is bad or the connections are
weak.Oil level ok? Use a jumper cable to assure full voltage to unit.
