Doesn't your stick show cross hatching for Hot and Cold readings? The
only problem I ever had was having to open the hatch, so I moved the dip
stick up front enabling more frequent checks.

I get the same problem but if I look at the other side of the stick, the
line (mark) is a little more clear....
Not much help, so just guess <g>
