The copilot and I were chatting today about some of my future plans for the dash. Being a techie type, an all "glass" (well plastic and LCD, really) cockpit like in a modern jetliner would be cool. Think of the dash flat across from side to side (like the pass side) with one or two pods sticking up with LCD's and some controls. All gauges would be on the display which would also have pages for tuning, etc...

SHE (that drives the turbocharged Volvo)was saying, sure what happens if the display craps out (these things being made in China) and goes blank while driving. How will you know what speed you are going? Of course, being two leadfooters, this question has merit in this household.

It also got me thinking...


...Anyone here ever gotten pulled over in their GMC for speeding?
