I was just looking over my log book and realized that vapor lock was real rare before I replaced the radiator (and a whole lot of other stuff). This was all after the 60MPH into the ditch when the lower control arm failed. We limped her home after that and changed more than a few parts that were either damaged or un-trusted. But ever since, vapor lock has been a bigger issue than it ever was before.
At first, I was willing to blame old gas, but that correlation is not as solid as I might like.
I do have a plan to put a pair of boost pumps down near the tanks, but I wonder if maybe I have missed something along the way.
