Good afternoon all,
Been trying to put ceramic tint on my windshield, before anybody says it I know it is not "LEGAL" for the windshield but I'm using 75% which is almost clear. I have done all the other windows, they were flat and easy, by the way the radius in the corner of the windows is the same as a CD. If anyone, as in a DIYer, has been succesfull I'm trying to find out if it had to be done in strips like some auto back windows. I have wasted 2 3"X10" rolls trying to lay them on the outside and shrink like the tinters suggest on youtube, but when I get it around on the inside, I find where I shrunk was not enough and that it needed to be stretched in other places. The difference in the heat coming through on other windows is unbelievable where it has been done so just wanted to get the benefit for the cockpit area. I could always say it's for medical purposes, I have to go to the dermatologist every year to check for skin cancers. Thanks.
