I'm currently installing the 5th radio (double DIN this time) in our GMC since we bought it back in 1998.

During the install I noticed that the cable that connects the "transmission gear indicator" is frayed and about to break. I think this would be good time to replace it since I have the dash opened up.

I have no idea where to obtain a replacement cable.

It's a similar cable to the one shown in the picture.

Any ideas?
