Took ol'Leaky out for a spin in the rain today, figured it was probably better to go for a drive rather than just starting her up and idling in the yard. Didn't go too far; just over to the local Walmart a couple of miles away. A few decent 2nd gear climbs and descents en route so got the 403 warmed up nicely. Ate up the road btw. Picked up a bag of groceries and headed back to base. Switched the battery back off, locked up and drove home. Stopped off at the lake for a few casts, got no bites -just got wet- all in all a good day at the end of a NW coast January.
