I had put my coach up for sale. The idea was to pick up a Tiffin I'm offered for cheap and sell the GMC to upgrade the Tiffin, which would accommodate my entire menagerie and Paula. As it turns out the places we'd like to see in the next couple of years are either on the Left Coast or the far Northeast and not at all dog friendly. Consequently it's better to have someone dog sit here, and fly out where we want to go. So, I'll keep the GMC for dog shows and select rallies.
Thanks to those who showed interest.

Johnny,

Just getting to the left coast is a major involvement when you start from Georgia. We have a little head start from here, but it still takes a lot of doing. And when we used to travel with two dogs (sadly, we now only have one), they do require some accommodation like "grass stops".

I personally believe that you will find that this decision has merit. They upper east coast (aka the megopolis) is not some place someone unfamiliar will want to drive a coach though 300yo village streets. This really isn't that much better if you started driving there. I can tell you that you will miss having your coach along, but you only have to do this once to have Been There Done That. We were usually east to visit family and friends so a single event was simply not possible.

Matt

Having driven over most of the US and Canada in a 36'Tripple E, I agree that the upper east coast is a pain to drive in. One of the reasons we are downsizing to a GMC.
Regards and stay safe....

Tom, just head back towards Oakwood and hang a right (north) on 211 - Tanner's mill road. Bout a mile on the right, just past Ponderosa Farm Road which is on the left. Drive has a radio tower beacon beside it. You can see the GMC under its tin shed at the end of the driveway. Text 4 zero four seven 2 five five one 6 zero. Dog introductions are necessary.
