That's where the sorting comes in. I wouldn't be interested in a tow. >If< the Tesla driveline is capable of pulling the GMCs weight for any distance, why not just mount that drioveline in the coach and skip the truck weight?
As to the efficiency of hydrogen energy, we may expect it to increase as time passes. Currently
it's the only non - nuclear energy source that produces only heat as a byproduct. Nuclear produces scary waste which can be condensed by not eliminated.

You need the truck to carry the batteries. If you put the batteries in the
GMC you would be close to GVW if not over.

There is a huge difference between the waste from an electrical generating
reactor, and an enriching plant to produce weapons grade plutonium. Any
amount of plutonium will give you cancer. Nasty, nasty stuff. But spent
unarinum from a power plant is magnitudes safer to deal with. Cooling
reactors is problematical. It takes huge cooling towers and the flow from a
good sized river to cool one. But, safety is not as big a deal. The U.S.
Navy has dozens, perhaps hundreds of reactors in use in nearly every port
in the U.S.A. and many more offshore. Their safety record is very good. But
when something DOES go wrong, it is never good. Best is hydro power. Except
for the fish.
