Today marks 46 years since our GMC was built according to the paperwork we received when we bought "The Motorhome" 23 1/2 years ago.

So far "The Motorhome" has 236,690.5 miles total. Of those miles we drove it 117,113.5 miles. She is on her 2nd motor, which I installed in September 2010 and 3rd transmission. She has lots of upgrades, but she still is in her original Palm Beach paint job with faded decals.

The following are some of the details of her existence:

VEHICLE FINANCIAL HISTORY SYSTEM
81/08/27
BUILT DATE :75/12/04
ORIG. SHIP DATE :75/12/23
ORIG. INVOICE DATE :75/12/23
RETAIL SALE :76/03/30
IN SERVICE DATE :76/03/30
ORIG. INVOICE DEALER: RED HOLMAN PONTIAC CO
WESTLAND, MI
1ST CUSTOMER
NAME:
KRUTHSCH HEATING INC.
3505 BIDDLE AVE
WYANDOTTE, MI 48192

2nd CUSTOMER 79/07/27
NAME: SYLVIO FAFORD
2251 SONDRA DR
FENTON, MI 48430
So Sylvio buys the GMC 79/07/27 and then dies 79/12/17 at age 63. A retirement gift to himself?

3rd CUSTOMER sometime in In 1980
The Boyes of Flint apparently bought her after Sylvio passed on.

4th CUSTOMER July 1998
would be us.
We bought her from the Boyes for $15,000. They sold it because of a job related relocation.
