Does anyone know off hand on a 1977 is the spare IGN spade post fused or should I put a fuse on it before I use it?

I was going to use it to supply power to a firewall relay which will energize another fuse panel.

Thanks again,
Tom K.

Cinnabar used that to supply the relay contacts for an Aux epump and fused it. (Relay coil driven by dash AUX tank switch). So I would fuse it. Have not studied schematic.

If I were adding a sub-feed with several circuits, I would use the binding
post on the solenoid that combines the batteries for boost starting the
coach. The post for the engine battery(s) that is the positive feed for all
things engine related. You need to add up all your intended loads that will
be fed by that sub-feed, and size your conductor accordingly.
If it makes you nervous, then include a circuit breaker or appropriate
sized fuse on that conductor. You should be using a panel that includes
fuses, just saying.

Jim,

I ran 3 sub fuse blocks. one constant power on the fire wall off the battery, another fuse block on the fire wall run off a 200 amp fuse and relay off the IGN, another fuse block on the arm rest run off a 200 amp fuse and relay off the IGN firewall fuse panel. The interior arm rest runs the gauges, digi panel, dash and gauge lights and microlevel.

I plan to daisy chain the relays off the IGN post on the interior fuse panel. I will fuse it for the relays 5 amp or less.

Any thoughts on the plan are always welcome.

Take care,
Tom K.

Sounds good to me. Really not much wrong with the original system, but a
few more circuits does not hurt.
The stock ignition circuit will only handle a max of about 20 amps
before bad stuff happens. That relay setup should work for anything you
need to do. I apply the K.I.S.S. principle when I modify anything, either
mechanical or electrical in nature.
