Hello all,

I am installing a Victron Combiner, Cyrix-ct and keeping it attached to the existing isolator.

I have the (2) large brass post on the combiner hooked up to the outside post on the isolator and the #86 ground post connected to ground.

Is post #85 generally ignored and do I need to install 120A fuses on the heavy cables going to the isolator outer terminals?

Thanks in advance,
Tom K.

I have installed 3 in the same manner. No issues.

No need to fuse, and yes.. that post is ignored in out application. It is a start assist that basically does the battery boost function when cranking. But we pull too many amps when cranking our coach so leave that wire off. (Not to mention it would add a bunch of work to hook up).
