I have a 26' 1973 Painted Desert with the Harrison 4 bag and an 1975 Avion
with Applied's Mono bag. It is easy for me to compare both systems.

The ride is mostly the same with the mono bag being slightly softer.
However, I have at least 2" more lift and 1 1/2" lower with the mono bag
than with the 4 bag and I am level with the mono bag at 40#'s psi.

When we designed the QuadraBag for Jim Bounds of COOP , We took the Ken
Rose's design and moved the bags up higher and larger bag.
Result was that the handling remained the same as the Harrison, but with a
smoother ride.
Also we operate on 80psi vs 100 for the Harrison and handle the additional
weight that JimBounds wanted.
