Does anyone have the part number and preferably the specifications/drawings for the Leigh Harrison Air Bag (Spring)? I know there is a spreadsheet with the number W01-358-3400. That number does not work for what appear to be two reasons. First the air inlet is not in the center, but offset and it is not possible to move the fitting to the center. Second, there is a large threaded stud on the plate opposite the air fitting. Any help would be appreciated.
No, I have not tried to pull one of the bags off to get the number (it is still running a normal 110deg for this time of year here). I want to replace the bags with something slightly larger to soften the ride over rough roads; first though I need to know what to start with.

How much difference does it make in your ride Larry?
Any downside to switching to that bag from “stock”?
Did you have a failure that prompted adding the spacer bolts as reinforcement?
Any other modifications necessary?
Could you mix the sizes, as in could I keep a good old one onboard as an emergency spare?

The bags that you see in that were experimental and did not work out. They are from a company called "Airbagit". They are bigger than the stock Harrison bags, and had all of the right fittings, fitting placement, and correct bolt pattern. But the end plates are made of aluminum, and when put under the stress of 100psi at fulll up and the slight twist, the aluminum cracked and leaked all of the air overnight. So, I had to go back to Firestone bags. Right now I am running a mix of the two different sizes with the bigger bag on the rear of both sides. No difference in ride just slightly lower pressures. My intent is to change the smaller bags out to the "slightly" larger bag the next time I have the coach up for other maintenance. So, pay no attention to those bags in the pics. I do carry an old bag in case of a blow out, but that is unlikely. Frankly I don't notice a nickels worth of difference in ride between the stock system and the Harrison 4bag. JMHO
As to the adding the spacer bolts, there have been several instances of.....under extreme stress, where the Harrison brackets have reportedly bent. (VERY RARE) Some GMC'rs have modified the brackets adding extra support. Adding bolts like I did seemed like a simple, easy way of reinforcing them. Adding them won't hurt anything and might help if I should inadvertently over stress things. Just my gut level solution is all.

I actually went through several sets of the Airbagit bags. After sending them pics of the application I was using, they finally relented that the bags were designed for a straight push, instead of the minor twist push that the GMC Harrison setup gave. So, they admitted that the bags would not work in our situation. Would not take the bags back nor give me my money back on them, even though they said on first inquiry, seeing pics of the application, and said the bags would work.
Personally I would not hesitate to use the Firestone 7659. They have steel end plates and are slightly bigger than the original, making pressures slightly lower for the same carrying height. JMHO

When we designed the QuadraBag for Jim Bounds of COOP ,
We took the Ken Rose's design and moved the bags up higher and larger bag.
Result was that the handling remained the same as the Harrison, but with a
smoother ride.
Also we operate on 80psi vs 100 for the Harrison and handle the additional
weight that JimBounds wanted.
