Hello All,

I purchased a backup vacuum booster from summit racing. They show 2 options for installation. Both options tee into the engine vacuum line between the engine and the booster. The boosters on the diagrams have a single vacuum input port. My sensitized booster has 2 vacuum inputs ports. Can I avoid the tee in the engine vacuum line and plumb directly into the second port on my booster?

Thanks in advance,
Tom K.

I am not familiar with all boosters.

What I do know is that Dave Lenzi’s booster has 2 ports and is the only one I personally have seen with 2 ports.

His booster install would be 1 port to engine. 2nd port to vacuum pump.

Thank you Jon,

It is Dave's Booster and that is how I rigged it up. I will give Dave a call when I go through the systems before start up.

Take care,
Tom
