A newbie friend of mine was bringing his newly purchased GMC back to
California and lost the front right wheel bearing in Rapid City SD. He
called me in Ca for help. I immediately turned to the Black List and
contacted Terrill Adams of Rapid City. Terrill stayed on scene over the next
3 days, offering moral and physical support. Also special thanks to Applied
and Jim Kanomata for expediting the parts needed. What a great community.
Thank you everyone that is a part of this thing called the GMC.

The list works. Every GMCer should take part.

One need to grab the front wheel at 12:00 and 6:00 and check for play.
Should youhave play, 99% of the time, one will have a worn knuckle.
Worn knuckle will cause the outer grease seal to open up and let grease
expel.
Any bearing lacking grease will fail.
80% of coaches that come in to our shop have worn knuckle.
The way we fix the worn knuckle is similar to Lenzi and good for 80-100,000
miles w/o greasing.
