Time to rattle the bars on the cage again.
1. I have had no volunteers to videotape the removal and installation of GMC windshields during the upcoming GMCMI Chippewa Falls rally Saturday and Sunday (September 25 and 26). If you can and want to do this, contact me (Ken Burton) at gmcwindshield@gmail.com .
2. I still have multiple openings for new windshield installation during the "Windshield Clinic" If you want in, you MUST contact me so I know to order them ahead of time for you. Contact me at gmcwindshield@gmail.com for orders, details, additional information, etc.

Kim,
This type of service should be limited to members as it is taking up lot of
time for you and the volunteer staff.

I will email off net or call you on this for your eNews. The orders are trickling in. My biggest worry is if the Canadians will be able to cross the border in time for the rally.
Jim made a comment that I should limit orders to members only. I see no reason to do this as it is a draw to members and non-members alike. Is encourages them both to attend. We also may get some to join GMCMI. I have never asked who is a member or not. I do not need to go through orders and do the extra workload to determine their membership status. I see no benefit in doing the extra work.

Here is an update on the windshield order cutoff for the GMCMI Rally in Chippewa Falls Sept on 25 and 26. The warehouse has given me a cutoff of the start of day next Monday. So barring any supplier changes the cut off ordering date will be:
6PM CENTRAL TIME SUNDAY SEPT 12, 2021.
I still have room for 2 more coaches in the Sunday schedule. We will not be doing any carry over to Monday scheduling because of manufacturer availability. The problem is we wiped out their entire stock and they are still short of what I initially asked for 2 months ago.
These are stocked at 4 warehouses around the country, so they are scrambling now to fill the remainder of the order from their other 3 warehouse locations. This has happened in previous rallys and they have always come through. They really are a great company to work with.
So if you are sitting on the fence, get your order in now. Send an email to me at: gmcwindshield@gmail.com for additional details or ordering.

Today is Sunday 9/12/2021
6PM CENTRAL TIME SUNDAY SEPT 12, 2021.
I have to turn in the final count first thing Monday morning on windshield orders for the GMCMI rally in Chippewa Falls.
I had two Canadian coaches drop out because they could not make it across the border to the rally. So I still have room in the schedule for 2 more coaches.
Send your order to me at gmcwindshield@gmail.com BEFORE 6PM today if you want in. They will not be bringing any un-ordered extras to the rally.
