The "Thermal Expansion Valve" on our 77' needs replacing. The issue is that the incoming line and outgoing line to the Condenser are both 5/8" O-Ring tube fittings. From what I have been able to discover valves configured with the same size fittings were only used on vehicles with actual factory (not dealer installed) air in the 60's and up through 72'. Any help would be appreciated.
Parts book number: 5910768
Frigidaire: 54-755 - This was stamped on the original valve.
