Thanks Rob,

I sand or bead blast that area of the stick, but now after seeing this article I think the horizontal grooves from a file might be a better idea. When checking the oil I always look at the sight holes first thing after pulling the stick. If the bottom one has fluid and the top one doesn't, I know I am somewhere within range. After that, I try to see if I can find exactly where the fluid line is between the holes.

Thanks Rob. That commercial is especially notable to me. The kid looks and acts exactly like my 11yr old grand daughter. I get a kick out of it every time I see it. Makes me laugh.
