I have a '73 Sequoia and have 4 window screens, the two larger in the front and the two smaller in the back. One of my front screens has the little rubber extrusion that seals the back of the screen to the stationary window. My other screens have no such seal. Does anyone have a source for that seal? (JimK has told me they don't have it. I've looked at Steele and no go.)

I speak from experience that that gap is a highway for mosquitos to enter the coach. I have been marginally successful for 25 years with using various forms of tape to seal the gap and am tired of living the Macgyver Life. Not particularly safety related but IMPORTANT just the same. My marriage may depend on a solution.
Thanks,
Doug

One thought is to try a mobil screen repair truck guy. My house has Kolbe and Kolbe windows and the sliding screen doors to the decks use a sweep seal of similar style to seal the screen frame to the fixed upright. . The fuzzy whiskers type may also work and actually be more forgiving and conforming while retaining seal. Just a thought.

Do a Google search for Fin Seal weatherstripping. This is the fuzzy stuff with a flexible "fin" in the middle of the fuzzy stuff, and most have a very aggressive adhesive backing. Comes in different sizes and "thickness" of the pile material.

Thanks to you all for your suggestions.
I will call Jim Bounds.
John, as you know with the internet, the question you ask determines the results you get. I had never heard the term "fin seal" and that was exactly what I needed to search a solution. www.allaboutdoors.com has several items that will work if Jim Bounds can't solve the problem.
Nice work everyone.
