I changed out the bathroom lights with warm white LED's and the result is great. The porch light, same result. The under hood light, the propane and generator compartments also perfect.

Then came the rearmost floor light which takes the same bulb as the rest of them, same socket exactly.

Put in the new LED, not working. Replaced incandescent bulb, works fine. Changed and tried several other LED's, none worked. What's up with that?

Larry,

The socket is wired with reverse polarity. LED's are polarity sensitive.

Reverse the wires to that socket! LEDs are polarity particular!

Swapped the wires at the plug connector and that did it - thanks!
