Guys,

Is there a double roller timing chain kit for the 455 that comes with gaskets?

Thanks again in advance,
Tom

Tom,
Can't help you on that, but if you haven't already disassembled the motor, check this utube for the safe way to get those exhaust manifolds unbolted. Could save a lot of time and effort.

I don't think the timing chain came with any gasket. Just timing chain and gears.

The gasket kit is this for the timing cover:

it should be a pretty easy to find part at any part house too. There are 2 kits usually. one has a sleeve for the harmonic balancer to help with the seal.... my experience is that sleeve for the balancer never goes on right, and a new balancer is needed?

Thanks Jon and Larry !

Jon - I will buy the balancer and thank you for the art number for the gasket.

Larry - I usually do most of what he said. The video was great, I never in the past retorqued the bolt before having them all loosened up.
it make very good sense. I also never aborted the removal of a stuck bolt to salvage the shank (grip) for future welding. All an all great video, Thank You!

You guys have a great day,
Tom
