jhbridges wrote on Wed, 17 February 2021 09:56when I was flying, the fuel gauge was the left bird finger. On the GMC, that doesn't work. One of my senders works so I look at it when the coach is parked and level. Then I go fill up anyway and note the odometer, and 150 miles later fill it again. And so on till I get where I'm going.

Ahhh... the 'Hupy' gauge! Out West where things are farther apart, we use 200 miles.

I look at pure-gas.org along the route and pick out stations close to 150 miles. sometimes more, sometimes less.

I went to a local station last August to buy some ethanol-free, and it
was $4.59/gallon. At the time, that was more than double the cost per
gallon of the fuel at their other pumps. Is that price normal for
ethanol-free, or is it just our station with such a high markup?
