The bath sink had a rubber stopper on a chain. The kitchen sinks is a bar sink strainer/ stopper. Shower floor drain has a trap and no stopper AFAIK.

Welcome to the group, family, cult, asylum....
You found your way here and that is fortunate. Most of us that write here do so because we can help. When you have been an owner for a decade and a lot of miles, you will understand.
Now, do you have the maintenance manuals?? (If not, download them at https://www.gmcmi.com/gmcmh-manuals/.)
You do not say if the Sequoia is 23 or 26. That matters in this case. 23 I can help, 26 I can look at the manuals and guess. '73s are different than most in lots of ways. Mine is all copper plumbing and a mix of flared and sweat. I am guessing you are talking about the system low point drains. That be the case, go look inside above where the drain come down. The drain behind the pot is for the water supply to the pot and if it is like mine, it is one of those stupid valves like are often radiation drain cocks. No matter what it looks like, turn the little handle clockwise to close it. If it is too hard to turn with fingers, put a tool on it. If the little wings turn and the valve does not close, wrench it out of the fitting it is in and go find one at a car parts store front. That is all the help I can be about that right now.
You are now a member of a most incredible community of helping and supportive people. Some find the forwardness uncomfortable, this exists because everybody that writes here wants you to enjoy both the coach and what it can do for you. This thing is much more than a new big toy. It's real value is the connection to this community. What this can do for you is truly awesome in the real meaning to that word. I am a waterman and actually find this comforting because it is just like home for me.
Because we will want to help you as much as we can, I need you to do something for both of us.... Make a sigfile. You do this by clicking on <Control Panel> at the top and then <Account Settings>. From there, scroll down to and click <Preferences>. There will be a box for Signature. In that space, please put your real name (we like to know who we are helping and be able to know who you are when we meet). A short about the coach this way you don't have to repeat that it is a 73 (23 or 26) Sequoia (that doesn't matter a lot because it is just a color scheme) and try to include any major mods. After 48 years, things have been changed, so try to include any that might matter. Lastly, but now leastly a geographic reference is good. This for two reasons. One is that the climate you are in may cause different considerations. And the best is that among the several thousand brand new old friends you have just acquired by showing up here, there may be some in striking distance that can be an ever so important native guide.
There are other resources, there is another newer and younger forum over at <www.gmcmhforum.com> that is good. There are multiple pages of Fakebook dedicated to GMC/TZE, as a social connection that is good for some (not me), but I have seen bad advice given there and some taken left the coach to be scrapped. That hurt.
Another important thing is to discover your local owner's chapter. Get to any event the may have as soon as you can to meet other owners. Be ready to be overwhelmed with information. They will understand and if you ask questions, you will get the answers.
As I said, this community is so like the watermen of my world where if someone needs help, you help him and nothing else matters. As sea, it is survival. For this very reason I have taken to welcoming new owners here much a new owner or vessel is welcomed there. So,
