Good morning. I am going to be removing my radiator before long to have it recored.

Hopefully I will be able to remove the oil/transmission lines from the radiator without damage. I will be replacing the oil cooler lines, as they look to be original.

I assume that in order to recore, they will hot tank the radiator to clean it and unsolder the tanks.

Here's my question. Should I plug the oil and transmission cooler fittings on the radiator to isolate those cooler units? Or leave them open?

What does everyone typically do?

Thank you.
