I missed ride height 101. Must have been in the bathroom. Please inform me
as to where I measure and what is that measurement.

Thanks.

Some get very anal with the ride height.
I just measure along the belt line to level ground about an inch lower at the back wheels.
Works for me and I can do it standing.

What bdub posted is the the GM offic1al way so set it. An easier way is to cut some 1x2 or 2x4 blocks cut to the correct distance to the bottom of the frame. I usually cut up some left over scraps and hand them out when we measure heights and weigh coaches at the rallies. The front and rear are different heights so I cut 2x4's for the rear and 1x2's for the fronts so I can easily tell them apart. Those block are at the airport and I do not remember the lengths. If I find them I will post them.

BTW, this is the way Jim K. does it. I got the idea from him.

If someone else has the numbers, Please post them. I will not be at the airport for several days.

I have 1x2's cut to 12.5 inches for measuring the rear ride height; I
measure from the ground to the grease nipples on the bogie (single nipples,
not the double type). Been doing that for 20 years. Also run with the
bags shut off and adjust the next morning when on the road. No use running
the air pump throughout the day when traveling. JWID.
