The current issue of "The Shop" has a feature article ("Plug-in Classics") that the electric vehicle crowd might enjoy. And since there are many gearheads in the group, they might get a kick out of it, too. I saw the Chevy pickup mentioned in the article last year at SEMA. Pretty cool. SEMA has exhibited a number of electrics over the last several years. If the show hadn't been cancelled this year, I'm there would have been more this time. Cool idea generators.

Also, some (or many) of you might have heard of the Winston electric motor home. You can google it. You can get a little insight on the state of the electric motor home art 10 years ago.

Enjoy.

Thank you for the link... very interesting. Made me do some more
searching, and ending up with a great search term for Youtub:

Retrofit Hybrid Electric Vehicle

Found

and

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iQ4lTPVR3qc

I have two questions:

* What happens if you add an engine to one of the wheels?

* Are these heavy-duty enough for the weight of the coach.

Amazon prime has a big fleet of delivery vans on the West Coast that are
total Electric Vehicles. More are added daily. Those vans are an ideal
application of Electric vehicles. How durable are they? They are in an
ideal place to document their cost vs I.C. powered vehicles. I expect that
the EV's will be more costly. But, hey, cost isn't everything, they say.
