Our 78 Royale has white rubber trim around all of the windows and it has shrank and keeps falling down. Has anyone found a suitable replacement molding?

JD,

I have not yet found any, but would love to. I know a lot of folks
replace it with Trim-Lok, but the original style white rubber trim looks
great when it's in good shape. Please keep us all posted if you find
any.

We stock and sell new white vinyl strips.
The reason why the old drops off , the material got rigid from 45 years.

Jim,
Yes it has definitely lost its flexibility. I will add that to a few other things on my order list.
Thanks!

When I first got my coach, the owner started the generator for me, it
started right up, settled down into a steady state, and I just assumed that
it was charging. It wasn't. I bought it, with much more concern about the
tires with sidewall cracks, and made a deal with the owner to drive the
coach to my favorite tire shop before I took delivery. I kinda forgot about
the generator until I needed it because of hot weather. No output. So, out
came that 6k Onan, and a quick replacement of the bridge rectifier resolved
the no charge problem. At that time, Mr.Onan was still alive, and he wised
me up about turning off the generator while under load. I never forgot
that. It was good advice. So, I pass it on whenever I get the chance. Glad
it worked for you also.

Jim, do you sell the L-shaped rubber the snaps in the aluminum window channel, or the U-Shaped vinyl that clips over the wall paneling? Thanks

Someone commented on using the SEM Paint system to paint it.

Follow the instructions, and it works great! I’ve used it on the window vinyl with amazing results, and on interior parts. Very good stuff, IMHO.
