Because I am kind of a sucker.... I have the 6.0 Onan (NH) in my barn. I have a friend that wanted it out, and another friend that wanted it. It hasn't been started in more than four years. "But it ran then"!

I was getting set to run test it and I noticed that the lever on the choke operator was not moving. Well, it isn't sticky. It is seized. I didn't try any more. Does any one have a success story that starts about here?
That or a replacement part that could be available?

If I hear none, I will attempt to deal with this and report regardless of the outcome.

Matt

Matt,

reach out to Jim Miller. I think he came up with a solution for the way too expensive and rare onan choke. I think he mentioned that last time I talked to him.

If you are going to remove it, then put it is a can and soak the whole thing in ATF or PSF and Acetone 50/50 for a couple of days.
