I need to replace my AC R46 S sparkplugs in my Onan. I have in my spares
Chanpion RJ-18Y plugs. Are they compatable? Too old for local parts house to
answer.

A quick Google search shows that those plugs are interchangeable.

Hi Dean,
It was recommended to me to stay away from Champion spark plugs for the Onan. I use NGK plugs now. I think it runs better. Maybe it likes the hotter plugs, it runs great. Here is the link to the thread from last summer.
