I owned a 1993 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I was changing the air filter one day and had the thought that it might just work on the GMC. I measured the cross section and felt that it would not block the airflow. I bought one from a dealer and removed the metal Insert and made a riser for between the throttle body and the air horn. It worked fine. Jim Kanomata now carries it at Aplied GMC.

yes I have purchased these items except for the Air filter box. i would like to use a remote square filter box off a newer gm vehicle such as the Tahoe. the tahoe has a 4" inlet not 3.5" So do you knwo which GM vehicle has a newer style air inlet box? I am not a fan of the k and N cone filter. they are prone to suck in water.
thanks
