Hi folks....could i trouble someone with a Zip Dee awning to do a couple quick measurements for me? Nothing to take apart just a measuring tape and from the side....doesn't have to be super accurate just need some numbers to start with.....thanks

Mine looks like 12.5” upper and 7” lower, measured along the body not the awning tube.

Thanks for this...so just to be clear you went from the upper bracket are to the approx upper tube junction and the from the lower bracket to the tube but on the body correct? did you contour the measuring tape or just lay it straight on there?

Yes, on upper, base of end piece casting (where square tube enters) to where square tube enters larger square tube. On lower, where tube enters larger tube to hinge pin on body casting. I measured in a straight line with the tape against the body for both. If you want the measurement along the centreline of the tube, I can do that also…
