Greg, first of all, does the rocker start switch on the generator start it?
If not, you may not have anything wrong with the remote panel.

Yes, generator starts, runs, and stops as it should when using the generator control panel. Just doesn't seem to be connected at all to the remote panel. Sorry, I should have stated this in my first post.

I feel certain I can fix that issue by running new 4 conductor cable, just wanted to know if the volt meter can be purchased, and the purpose of the fuel gauge.

Fuel gage is propane.

Thanks everyone for the replies on this.

I made up a jumper with alligator clips on both ends as suggested to ohm out the lines. I got no continuity on any of them. I unplugged the large connector and cleaned with contact cleaner, still no joy.

The much discussed/maligned four conductor plug was missing on my coach. Probably already replaced.

While feeling around between the wall and the refrig behind the remote control panel, I felt all kinds of connectors and plugs which shouldn't be there, which led me to believe all this wiring was a victim of

PO work.

I didn't want to pull out the refrigerator for access, so, I ran a new four conductor cable from the generator control board to the remote control panel. Disconnected and taped up the old spade terminals,

and connected the new cable. Generator starts, stops, and runs as it should. Generator light comes on, hour meter works. I installed the fuel pump prime switch also.

Now to work on why the starter sounds so terrible. I think the nose bushing may be bad, as the bracket is not yet broken.
