If you are asking about the air, its just a timer.

Too low a pressure to be really useful. Mine comes on around 70-80 psi, at which point the rear end is hanging from the shock absorbers, or almost. By that time you should know something's wrong anyways. Previous owner installed a pressure gauge which is what I follow. Some folks rewired the idiot light to come on whenever the compressor runs. If it stays on a lot, you know there's a leak or compressor problem.

Mine is a 1977 so it does not have the "Low Air" light.
I would first pull the wire off the existing pressure switch and see if the Low Air light goes out. If not, you have a short to ground on the wire to the pressure switch. If it does go out, then it is a faulty switch.
I would look for an inexpensive pressure switch that can handle pressures up to about 150PSI and is adjustable. Then adjust it to activate the light at a pressure just below where the compressor usually comes ON. In that way it will not come on during regular compressor cycling. But it will turn ON when the pressure is low at startup and if the compressor fails to come ON.
Just my farm-boy mechanic way of seeing things.
