There are other reasons for having to crank to prime than fuel evaporation
due to heat. One of the features of the quad's bowl are rivets. These rivets
become loose and leak/drain the fuel from the primer bowl. Have your carb
guy look to see if your fuel bowl is leaking down. You can tell the
difference between evaporation and leak down if your coach starts right up
the next day after running but won't start up without cranking at the end of
a week sitting.

Been there, done that.
